Charism and Spirituality

The Daughters of St. Joseph in their daily life express a specific resemblance with God in the Holy Eucharist by modelling their  life to be like Him. They become the prolongation of the life of Jesus through the gift of their life in total humility, availability, total offering to the Father for their brothers and sisters. So resound the words of St. Paul:

I exhort you… to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual cult (Rm 12,1)

Hence we continue to fulfil the desire of our Father Founder, love and make others love, honour and make others to honour serve and make others to serve God in the Blessed Sacrament.

“The spirit which animates the congregation and which determines its feature in the bosom of the church is spirit of faith, love, sacrifice and service to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.” (Cost n°3)

The Daughters of St. Joseph consecrate their lives to the service of the cult of the Eucharistic Mystery and do not overlook any opportunity to manifest their faith and their love for Jesus in the Eucharist.  From the Eucharist celebrated to the Eucharist lived, they find their motivating force  and their point of convergence in  strengthening  a fraternal tie and communion, to form among themselves one heart. This is the secret to guarantee the fruitfulness of any action that a religious woman is called to fulfil.
